In a beautifully restored Peranakan house, which preserves its openwork wooden claustras, old tiles and revolving staircase, Malaqa House is halfway between the museum, the café and the antique shop. Jewelry, Chinese furniture, period curiosities, are on display for sale and there is something for everyone. You are not obliged to buy and you can browse the different rooms of the house as you would visit a museum. It's fun and it can be an opportunity to bring back a truly original memory.
