THE VILLAGE OF BLESLE
Located on the foothills of the Cézallier, the village of Blesle is surrounded by the Alagnon and its tributaries, Sianne and the Voiland. But it is his Benedictine abbey created in the ninth century that Owle owes his existence and growth. From the fortress built by the Mercoeur barons, there is only the dungeon, towers and walls of the enclosure, as well as houses with wood and carved doors that still bear witness to the medieval past. Classified among the most beautiful villages of France and having the label of the Fleuris Villages, it is also a village of art and culture with each summer "The Medics de Blesle" that meet for several days of musical troupes of all kinds.
