This group of 9 caves located 1,000 metres above sea level is believed to have been inhabited in prehistoric times. Although rarely visited, they are a delight to explore. They contain the temple, Sivan, statues of Buddhas (including a 9 m tall reclining Buddha), which are reached after a steep and slippery climb, and monks meditating alone in front of these limestone formations. As for transport, it's difficult to get there by bus, and the best way is by cab (RM40).
