In fact, the chalets feature all modern comforts, including air conditioning and a bathroom with hot shower. The varnished wooden rooms are particularly cosy. The package includes an excursion to the island's mud geysers, with their reputation for eternal rejuvenation. More prosaically, hot mud is excellent for joints and skin.
