After a 4-6 hour hike to the summit, Laban Rata Rest House is a welcome stopover. Nestled at an altitude of 3,273 meters, this hut is the last stop before the summit. You can opt for a dormitory bed or an en-suite room. The shared showers are clean and have hot water. The restaurant is open between 2 and 3 a.m., perfect for a hearty breakfast before the final ascent. Drinks, on the other hand, are at a premium.
