At the foot of Mount Kinabalu, not far from the park entrance, Grace Hostel stands at an altitude of 1,585 meters. It's an ideal stopover for those who want to enjoy the park without undertaking an ascent, or for those returning from an expedition. Accommodation is in dormitories of 6 to 8 beds, but with, it must be emphasized, very thick mattresses. Space is at a premium without sacrificing comfort. We also love the common room with its fireplace and crackling wood fire in the evening. A few family cottages are also available.
