This superb colonial-style house was the second Malaysian residence of Agnes Keith, an American writer. The first one was destroyed during the war. The author of The Land Below the Wind - this title is the literal translation of the word Sabah - had made it her family's nest and workplace, while her husband, Her Majesty's subject, was working in the Forest Department. One of the few well preserved remains of Sandakan's colonial heritage.
