The Ritz Carlton, not to be confused with the Carlton, was the first hotel in Asia to be awarded 6-star status. As a result, it is one of the most luxurious hotels in Singapore. Situated on 6 hectares of land in the billionaires' district, the tall tower is the brainchild of John Portman, a megalomaniac American architect suffering from atrium delirium and a Hollywood complex.
