Celebration of the birth, awakening and death of Buddha, a day rich in offerings, processions, sharing and prayers.

Vesak Day is the holiest day in the Buddhist calendar celebrating the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha. On this occasion, the faithful make donations of all kinds and visit the poor and needy. The temples are decorated with flowers. Walks and mediations are organized throughout the day. Do not miss the candlelight processions from Kong Meng San Phor Kark See monastery on Bright Hill road and the singing monks.
