Located at the extreme north-western tip of the island, the Sungei Buloh reserve is a paradise for birdwatching enthusiasts. Wooden observation platforms have been set up to observe some 140 species of birds. The best period is from September to March when migratory birds settle in this swampy and mangrove area. Free guided tours are organized on Saturdays at 9:30 am (except if it rains). Don't forget the mosquito repellent.
