Here's a temple that requires you to take a deep breath... twice. The first to pronounce its name without fail, the second to climb to the top of the hill on which it's built. In the main sanctuary, Guan Yin stands before a statue of the Monkey god, with the gods of War on one side and the goddess of Fertility and Birth on the other. In the background, facing Guan Yin, Wei Tuo, the goddess's former servant knight, looks on.
