The Abbdul Gaffoor mosque is located in the Kampong Kapor district, a former center of activity for Indian traders. First built of wood in 1881, it was replaced by the present mosque in 1910. At the entrance, admire the sundial with its 25 rays decorated with Arabic calligraphy. It's the only one of its kind in the Islamic world. To the left of the prayer room, you can see a family tree tracing the lineages of the various prophets.
