CHINESE GARDEN (YU HUA YUAN)

Built in 1975 and designed by Yuen-chen Yu, a renowned Taiwanese landscape gardener, the garden is a reconstruction of a Chinese imperial garden of the Song dynasty with its temples, pagodas and bridges, which recall the grandeur of Beijing's Summer Palace. You can also stroll through the Chinese style Jardin des bonsaïs and the Jardin de l'abondance, which houses century-old pomegranates. They are connected to the Japanese Garden by a bridge. A very Zen experience.
