Next to the Geyland Serai Malay Village is a large traditional food market. Go there to see the stalls of meats, fish, eels and even frogs. You'll also discover all sorts of tropical fruits and vegetables, such as durians, mangosteens or rambutans (large lychees with bright pink, hairy shells). You can also buy spices such as pepper, lemongrass and chillies. There's also a food court and a number of stores selling mainly Malay clothing.
