Fun museography with exhibitions, housing a floor with a breathtaking view of the chevet of the Saint-Julien-de-Brioude basilica.
In the former Notre-Dame church, the permanent exhibition of the Pays d'art et d'histoire is a showcase of the Haut-Allier territory. A playful museography allows visitors to become familiar with the world of mural painting, to discover the techniques of fresco and tempera, the pigments, the history of mural painting. Projections, interactive terminals and tours complete the visit. One floor offers a breathtaking view of the chevet of the Saint-Julien de Brioude basilica. The Pays d'art et d'histoire du Haut-Allier offers a temporary exhibition.
