Amazing! Foood is so good

I went there with my friends over lunch at the restaurant in Port Louis. we ordered our starters which came quite okay. drinks were quick. but unfortunately the waiter who was not a Mauritian did not understand our order and brought our food late and with WRONG ORDER and he was not remorseful at all. when i said this was not my order he insisted that it was the food that he brought be my order.
the waiter asked the kitchen to change the order and after 5 minutes some lady came to my table saying that the wrong order was already made and cannot be changed.
after i did not agree to what was brought they told me it will take some more time to change the order and i got my food around 1 hour late.

i had a real bad experience at the restaurant.

Not going there again.

Highly recommend! Amazing food

Après un petit tour dans Chinatown (dépaysement garanti) sur recommandation d'un ami, nous avons dejeuné dans ce restaurant. Situé au 2ème étage d'un immeuble insignifiant, une très belle surprise. Une jolie salle, des tables bien dressées. Un accueil chaleureux, un service réactif, un personnel attentionné et une excellente cuisine asiatique de qualité. Une très jolie carte variée et copieuse. Un régal pour les papilles. Une belle adresse pour vous plonger dans une savoureuse découverte asiatique.

ALERT SCAM!

We were extremely disappointed with the service today. We booked a table for 12 persons and opted for the pre-set lunch offered. It was a total SCAM! The portions were ridiculously small, and when we questioned at the reception, one of the waitresses had the audacity to say, "It’s always like that." (To that girl: Just because it's always like that doesn't make it right or any less FRAUDULENT!) We even ordered one normal portion to compare with the "5 portions" that were supposed to be given to us in one plate. The difference was shocking—what we received didn’t even amount to 2 portions. This was a total scam and a waste of money. If you can’t provide the correct quantity, don’t lie and charge us—just ask for the proper price, and we’d prefer to pay that than be scammed like this! This completely ruined our day and lunch. Very disappointing and deceiving for a prestigious restaurant like city orient. NEVER OPT FOR THE PRE SET LUNCH. YOU WILL BE DECEIVED!! (wish someone told me that before booking for a whole team)
