Renovated in 2023, the Craft Market is a separate section of the Caudan Waterfront, dedicated to crafts. In a contemporary setting that combines the softness of wood with gracefully curved lines, you'll meet local artisans, happy to share their skills and talents. On two floors, one stall follows another, offering souvenirs in vacoa, rattan, wood engravings and, of course, the national dodo in its many variations. You'll also find organic soaps, sugar cane varieties and more.

Don't ever buy liquor in the craft market, try the duty free store in waterfront, the price is way more correct,even with tax.

Unglaublich überteuert. Gerde der Gewürzeladen im 1. Stock mit Gewürzen und Trockenfrüchten kostete mich 15 CHF für eine Handvoll getrockneter Früchte. Man merkt es dann erst zu spät wenn alles verpackt ist und gewogen ist. Unglaublich wie ich darauf reinfallen konnte.

Nice place, new, but mostly for tourists. I had hoped for an authentic crafts markets where local artists exhibited their things. Should have read the reviews! Get ready for lots of ‘handmade dodos’.

Très joli regroupement de magasins. On trouve des épices, de la vanille, des bijoux, des cadeaux artisanaux. Et surtout, contrairement au marché les prix sont affichés, donc pas de mauvaises surprises

Bien pour le duty free détaxé. Mais pour les reste des enseignes se méfier. Beaucoup de fausses promotions.
