Protected by a clutter of green plants in pots, it is a trattoria pure juice, with its old sofas like at the mamma's, a TV connected to Italian channels, an everlasting smell of pasta and pizza... The dishes are chosen à la carte or on the slate, the service is (sometimes) slow, but nice, some tables are nice at night on a wooden deck and it's a real treat in a talkative and good-natured atmosphere. Not necessarily the best Italian restaurant in the area, but does very well when the Botteghita, the Voglia Matta or 1974 are full

Very nice place for quality Italian food in Gran Baie. The carbonara pasta was lovely .

Venue mercredi 10 juillet, on vous recommande de pas prendre des raviolis !!!
4 raviolis par pour 690rs. C’est clairement des prix français. Ça ne vaut pas le coup!!

Great service from Max and his team who were polite and welcoming. The carbonara was unfortunately heavy handed on the nutmeg and like the other pasta dishes ordered, were quite salty. However the homemade gnocchi was enjoyable and so was the pizza base.

What an amazing find. Truly authentic Italian food and very friendly service, will definitely be going back! The pizzas and pasta were equally amazing, try their spaghetti puttanesca for sure
But now with inflation and all that, it is still expensive compared to like small local resto, but it is damn well worth it if you want some excellent authentic italian food
Though out of the countless of times i've been there, the past 2 times i went, the cheese seems to slide of the pizza easily which i dont think is supposed to be happening
