The Mascarene Islands' largest and oldest ship model factory still in operation produces over 150 models of exceptional quality, in all price ranges: from Columbus caravels to America's Cup boats. While classic reproductions make up the bulk of the collection, Historic Marine also produces more colorful models, more modern models and custom-built models for private customers. You can visit the workshop, where craftsmen perpetuate the tradition of model shipbuilding.

The owner was very friendly and showed us around the showroom and the workshop with explanation. It was very interesting to see the very detailed models ranging from 30€ to >1.000€. No pushing to buy anything, we gave a small donation into a box.

Great ship models! You can watch them building them. The owner will be happy to explain everything in details. I bought one at 350 Euros and took it back as hand luggage, they will pack it well for you.

Negozio con fabbrica propria di modellismo navale ( e non solo ). Visitare il laboratorio è stato molto carino , vedere le varie fasi di produzione di certi capolavori, è qualcosa di magnifico . Una volta entrati nell'area vendita, resterete a bocca aperta. Si trovano modellini che sono delle vere e proprie opere d'arte, fedelissimi in ogni più piccolo dettaglio. Ci sono di varie misure , tipologia di natante e ovviamente fasce di prezzo . Se deciderete di acquistarle , provvederanno a farvi un imballaggio degno di nota per garantire l'integrità durante il viaggio in aereo ( ovviamente per modelli che rientrano nelle dimensioni del " bagaglio a mano ").

Un très bel endroit, de nombreuses maquettes de bateaux y sont exposées tel un musée chacune avec leur propre histoire, le travail est de qualité ainsi qu'un accueil très sympathique. Ça vaut vraiment le coup d’œil.
