The Mascarene Islands' largest and oldest ship model factory still in operation produces over 150 models of exceptional quality, in all price ranges: from Columbus caravels to America's Cup boats. While classic reproductions make up the bulk of the collection, Historic Marine also produces more colorful models, more modern models and custom-built models for private customers. You can visit the workshop, where craftsmen perpetuate the tradition of model shipbuilding.

The choice is vast and the exceptional quality of the finishings! It is the knowledge because there are many companies that are not this level in the island!
I am a passionate model. I have that I will bring one of my stay from there to Mauritius, I had several shops in the centre of the island, but it is in Historic I found that the finishing touches were best maintained. And the prices are almost similar that elsewhere (with quality equalizes)
A beautiful factory model boats, which had been recommended to us on several occasions. We are experts and we found models finished very well. the showroom is worth the visit, it is just 15 minutes from Grand Baie.
