It's the largest supermarket in the northern region, well-stocked with food and household products, as well as handicrafts, books on Mauritius, local teas, spices, fruit jellies, exotic jams, etc., sold here for less than in souvenir stores or most markets. At the entrance: a shopping mall with hundreds of boutiques selling local and international brands. Not friendly, 20+ people queuing in the only open 6 checkouts when there are 36! Members of staff in customer service/bag area pointing and laughing at length of queues. Other than that a good variety of produce and lots of parking.

As an early shopper, it would be nice if super U can open earlier around 08h30 instead of 09hr. Not nice to have peaple waiting for the opening while they can be inside viewing the shelf by meantime.

Il y a du choix pour les souvenirs et moins cher
Mais c’est surtout en therme de choix pour ceux qui viennent de france on trouve quand même plus d’aliment pour retrouver quelques habitudes culinaires
