In a room on the first floor, it is one of the rare Thai restaurants in Mauritius, open for more than 20 years and 100% pure juice with its bamboos, orchids and decorative objects imported from Thailand. Wooded, the setting is pleasant because warm and the dishes, prepared by a Mauritian chef trained by a Thai, are of consistent quality hence the longevity. Flavours rich in spices, herbs and sauces: green or yellow curries prepared in coconut milk, satay chicken, duck with honey... In the mild hours, choose the sheltered terrace at the back.

Not far from Cuvette beach by taxi, I visited one evening with my family of 5. We didn't reserve, and we were able to get a table quickly.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the Pad Thai and was able to make it vegan. I would have preferred a lime not lemon with my dish and the usual condiments provided in a Thai restaurant (chilli, sugar, nuts etc) to personalise the flavour. I also ate the spring rolls and shared with my Dad as the portion size was generous.
My Dad ate the sizzling beef, which came with vegetables and sauce. He also ate egg fried rice, which was a portion more suitable for two people.
The service was efficient, and the owner, who isn't Thai, was friendly, checking in on each table.
