This delightful old-fashioned dining room stands in a Creole house adjoining the superb Demeure Saint Antoine, one of Mauritius's finest properties. In the days of wooden construction, prudence separated the kitchen from the main living area to prevent the spread of fire. Extended by a terrace-varangue opening onto the park, less haughty than the big house but nonetheless charming, this refined table d'hôte serves delicious French-style Creole cuisine in a delightfully old-fashioned atmosphere.

I went to the restaurant so can't rate the rooms. The restaurant was quiet and the service and food very nice. The garden is beautiful.

Pour déjeuner uniquement, très bonne table, belle carte, super accueil, lieu magnifique et calme, idéal pour une belle pause. Service parfait, et très bon rapport qualité/prix. On recommande.

What a find ! Excellent restaurant in a walled garden with mature tree landscape. Food excellent and calm surrounds, highly recommend !

Exceptional place, where you can experience the vestiges of Mauritius’ colonial heritage. I only came for lunch, so no judgement of the accommodation possible, but cuisine and service were really good in every aspect.
