Atypical, this huge restaurant is arranged around barachois = fishponds. A miracle of water and greenery, it's a romantic place, despite its vocation for groups. Choose an outdoor table under the varangue or in one of the rondavels on stilts, and sample Mr. Hang's fabulous battalion cuisine. The speciality of the place: camarons, caught at the last moment and cooked on the spot. But fish, seafood, lamb or duck cooked over a wood fire are not bad either. Magical torchlight illumination of the basins on certain evenings.

Abbiamo cenato una sera di metà Ottobre nel 2008 durante il viaggio di nozze nonostante fosse ormai buio il posto era bellissimo e il vassoio a base di pesce ed aragosta fantastico mai trovato così abbondante e grosso in nessun'altra parte.

First, I tried calling multiple times, but no one answered the phone. I decided to go there anyway and managed to get a table. We ordered only two items from the menu, which arrived quite late, especially considering there were only two tables occupied during dinner service. Both dishes we ordered were bland, chewy, and tasteless. I had high hopes for the roast duck, particularly because it took so long to arrive, but it seemed like it wasn't cooked the same day. The sauce was bland and unappetizing, and the duck itself was so chewy and tough that I had to spit it out. The sliced beef with oyster sauce was equally tough, and the sauce was off-putting and very bland.
Regarding the surroundings, though there was plenty of greenery, the place felt very run-down. The service was poor; the manager never came despite us calling for him twice. To make matters worse, as I was walking back from the restroom, I overheard one of the owners (I assume) swearing profusely at a staff member behind the bar, which I found incredibly rude and unprofessional. Lastly, the cocktails we ordered tasted awful and had very little alcohol. This will be our last visit, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is the worst place to drink and eat. The cocktails were basic which any fool can make. We ordered roast duck and beef with mushroom in oyster sauce. Both were tough, chewy and tasteless. The duck was overpowered with Chinese five spice and the sauce of the beef dish was snotty and gooey as well as flavourless.
Mon retour dans ce lieu apres 14 ans m a deçu car je m attendais a retrouver une ambiance simple et conviviale et un excellent repas. Rien n etait au rendez vous. Endroit sinistre pour un 15 aout.
Je vous deconseille le diner.
