This chain of cafés is omnipresent in Mauritius and particularly in Port Louis where it already has 8 branches. Its success is based on a vintage and warm decoration that makes you want to linger (gramophones, cement tiles, wood, metal, bricks, materials...), real good coffee prepared by a barista, a choice of fresh or iced drinks (latte, smoothie, detox cocktail...), homemade products to satisfy your sweet and sour cravings (macaroon, brownie, panini, wrap...), a good wifi connection and plugs. Artisan has declined in quality, with poorly trained staff and overpriced products. Portions are shrinking while prices are increasing, leading to a poor price-to-quality ratio. For better service and food, consider having your coffee/breakfast at Illico instead.

Worst coffee ever. They don’t grind beans for each cup, they make several cups with the same serving. So the coffee is only flavored coffee…

Experience désastreuse à Artisan café Cascavelle aujourd'hui.. Après plusieurs minutes d'attente.. Je passe une commande pour recevoir un mocha à la place d'un latté et sans crème. 3 financiers et pour recevoir que 2 qui sont rassis.. On passe ma carte à 3 reprises et ça ne marche pas.. Le mec me dit que c'est ma carte qui ne fonctionne pas alors que c'est lui qui ne sait pas se servir de la machine.. C'est une honte pour un établissement pareil.. Fuyez cet endroit.. Plus jamais encore !!!
