Imported from Zimbabwe, this is one of the most original activities in Mauritius: a 1-hour walk with lions in the company of an expert guide. No special condition is required, but self-control is desired, because although trained, the lions frolic freely around the walkers, making for incredible close-up photos! Other things to do: 4x4 safari, observation session, guided walk in the reserve, feeding of lions, interaction session in the enclosures with cheetah, caracal or serval under the guidance of a professional trainer. Unforgettable!

Had a great time at Casela, would recommend it to be a must on any tourists list.
In fact it should be one of the first things to do after you adjust to the time zone.
The park is very well organised and clean. Tends to be busy so must book tickets online.
