As you enter Tamarin from the north, you'll see a brand-new Super U on the left, the largest supermarket in the area, along with several boutiques and a few resto-bars. On the right is Cap Tamarin, a long shopping mall bordering a square with a children's playground. Here, you'll find a number of boutiques, including My Pop Up Store, which sells 100% Mauritian brands. There's also a very good bakery (Pains & Moulins), pharmacy, bank, various shops... For lunch or dinner: Lulu.

There is a Galaxy store and an android (Galaxy) and Apple product reseller stores for electronics, a Body Shop, a hair salon (I have yet to try - I bought shampoo there), a MyT, bedding and a furniture store, a health store and a variety of clothings stores, some artisan stalls, a food court and an enormous Super U. It’s a small mall by global standards but air conditioned and pleasant. There is also drive through McDonald’s and a KFC too.
The Artisan coffee shop is very popular and Mam(e) has a lovely view. I have yet to try Sitar. The bubble tea ???? is good and so is the health food shop next to it.
I love the undercover parking option to avoid a hot car after shopping. The Super U stocks a large variety of items and staff are friendly.
There are a number of pleasant restaurants for lunch and numerous take-out options in the food court. It’s clean and pleasant.
In addition, there are KFC and McDonald’s drive-throughs, a post office, hair salon, pet store, Artisan coffee, Body Shop, Haagen-Dazs ice-cream stand, a pharmacy, liquor store, Manjoo, sports shop, a small stationery shop, clothing stores and tech stores - including an iShop (Apple Authorised Reseller).
All we need is a cinema…
