The airport, also known as Piacenza Airport (a whole program...), is named after a former Prime Minister and father of the nation who died in 1985. It is located at 3 km from the entrance to Mahébourg and at 48 km from Port Louis Recently, its terminal has been equipped with modern equipment, services and infrastructure, including, on arrival: a post office, bank counters with ATMs, a Shibani Finance branch to exchange currencies at preferential rates, a tourist office, the counters of the main local receptives (Connections, Mauritours, Mautourco, Summertimes...) and large hotel groups (Attitude, Beachcomber, Constance, Sun International, VLH.), some coffee shops, restaurants, a large Duty Free shop, etc. For the counters of the rental companies of voitures (Ada, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt...), leave the airport by the main door and go to the building opposite, well indicated. Away, a YU LOUNGE welcomes VIP ++ passengers.

Aéroport International situé prés de la ville de Mahébourg. Jouant la stratégie économique touristique l’aéroport est doté d’une infrastructure moderne. L’accès se fait par des voies rapides avec d’immenses parkings pour le stationnement. Nombreux loueurs de véhicules avec possibilité de livraison à votre hôtel. Hall d’accueil très agréable équipé de nombreux postes indiquant les informations de votre destination. Un piano pour se détendre et faire passer le temps...
Personnel aimable et serviable. Nombreuses boutiques et lieu de restauration, ainsi qu’un Duty Fruit après le passage douane.
