The people were super friendly and helped us find a table and choose the food. It was delicious and cheap and full of locals. Our taxes driver said, it's famous for its Brian. We had the one with chicken and it was not spicy, even for me ????

Bestes Briani ever. And again because it is soooo good!
Typische Mauritianische Snackbar, vornehmlich von Einheimischen frequentiert. Ambiente nüchtern, macht aber gar nüscht, denn hier geht man wegen des ausgezeichneten Essens hin. Wartezeit quasi null wenn man Briani bestellt.

Had the chicken briani, large portion which feeds two adults. The chili and tomato/onion sauces are fresh and tasty. The owner and staff are friendly and packed my takeaway nicely. It was a lovely experience seeing many locals and some foreigners enjoying their plates filled with briani. This made my trip to Mahebourg!

Un petit snack qui ne paye pas de mine et avec un plat unique : le Biriani poulet (petite ou grande assiette). Très copieux pour un somme modique (250 RS soit 5 euros les 2 petites assiettes déjà très bien servies)

Very tasty briani and very good portion even the medium portion is of sufficient quantity..their free tamarin is too good. Price is very good..and briani is tasty every time i went there since years ..service is ok and customer care is good..it sells only briani and kebab so you go there for these two only..

Si vous voulez manger local c’est ici qu’il faut aller ! Ne vous décourager pas en voyant l’aspect du restaurant (type cantine), tous les locaux y vont, il y a d’ailleurs souvent une longue file d’attente.
Ici pas de chichi, il n’y a qu’un seul plat disponible (en petit ou grand format) pour 2 euros. Préparez vous à avoir une assiette bien remplie (même pour les petits plat) !
Attention les Mauriciens mangent épicé (si vous aimez le défi goûtez la sauce verte !)
Le plat qui nous a été servi était du poulet Briani
(Poulet, riz, pomme de terre assaisonné à la mauricienne), un plat local que nous avons apprécié.

Snack de restauration rapide. Plats typiquement mauricien. Plus que copieux, gargantuesque... Le Bryani une tuerie !
Lieu typique, peu de touristes, et c'est ça qui fait l'authenticité !

Petit resto avec ambiance où l'on peut manger pour quelques roupies un excellent Bryani. Par contre il faut savoir que le cadre est un peu froid (une grande salle sans décoration, un peu style cantine) et qu'il n'y a que du Bryani à manger.
A essayer si on veut côtoyer les Mauriciens dans une ambiance locale.
