THE OLD CEMETERY

Named after Notre-Dame des Anges, like one of the churches of Mahebourg, it benefits, like all the marine cemeteries, from a beautiful panorama on the bay. If the graves could speak, they would tell parts of the history of Mauritius: that of the first settlement and the first families settled in the island, some of which belonged to the nobility and whose names have disappeared.
