Much larger than the average restaurant, this table d'hôte serves daily Indo-Mauritian dishes in a room as large as the owners' ambitions. Although it's not our favorite setting, the same family has been running the business for over 20 years, a guarantee of consistency and quality. A la carte: curries with rice, faratas and achards, spicy fish served with local vegetables, venison curry in season, etc.

Vegetarian curry was very good and recommended.
Today we went for lunch and had such a great experience! Food was good, company was nice and the location was prestine!
Out starter was the renowned palm heart salad. I had the Vegetable Plate and my partner had the most delicious Venison Curry! The crisp cool Flying Dodos were the best after a breathtaking helicopter ride over Le Morne!
Take the time to visit all the fun things to do in Chamarel and once you are finished, be sure to stop for lokal eats at Les Palmiers Chez Dev!
