On the public beach of Bel Ombre, wild, quiet and deserted (wrongly) by travelers, everyone knows François' pretty blue-roofed caravan. Every day, the queue speaks volumes about the flavor of the fried dumplings and mines that our man concocts in his pots and sells in the shade of the filaos, facing the ocean. A few picnic tables complete the picture, making for an exotic, no-frills, local taste experience in the form of a cool beach lunch. To be sure the roulotte is there, check it out on facebook.

What a place to eat a good noodle and see the seaside. Cool atmosphere, great staffs. Though you have to queue as there's lot of eaters! Price ranging from rs 125 to 250, boullettes available

Nous avons mangé chez Francois à plusieurs reprises et jamais déçus ! Les mines frites et mines bouillies sont délicieuses, notamment celles au poulet. Bonus pour le prix très abordable et un super cadre quand on mange sur place (vous choisissez où vous mettre dans le parc/bord de plage et revenez juste donner la vaisselle !)

Très bon rapport qualité prix et avec le sourire des mauriciens. Plats divers proposés, endroit fréquenté par les « pays ». Repas pris sur la plage où des tables et bancs sont aménagés. À recommander à ceux de passage sur Bel Ombre.
