Since 2023: under the name Heritage Golf Club, not 1 but 2 18-hole golf courses (Le Château Golf Course and La Réserve Golf Links) share the slopes of the superb Domaine de Bel Ombre behind the Heritage hotels, offering amateurs and pros alike an exceptional golfing destination in a beautiful landscape. Open to all (which will not be the case for the Links) and voted best course in the Indian Ocean 8 years running, Le Château Golf Course, a Par 72 designed by Peter Matkovitch, hosts the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open every two years, a tournament bringing together three of the world's leading international circuits: the Sunshine Tour, Asian Tour and European Tour. Golfers have the pleasure of playing on a European Tour course that is both technical and visually stunning, set in a hilly environment with beautiful ocean views. For beginners or advanced players, the Château Golf Course offers personalized packages: discovery sessions, private lessons or a real golfing vacation with a course accompanied by a PGA France member instructor. We also offer a Golf Package to discover the Links and 3 other golf courses in Mauritius.
On site: chipping green, driving range, putting green, 9-hole Par 3, golf academy and clubhouse with changing rooms, Pro Shop, bar and restaurant. And for children aged 4 and over: an association with SNAG (Starting New At Golf), a fun learning method.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
However, I have to say the Heritage Golf Course appears to be in decline, now the 2nd course 'the Links" is now open.
Let me explain.
The clubhouse changing facilities no longer have the number of shower towels it once had, and a cool flannel at the end of a round is no longer given.
The course has many unfilled divots which can and has ruin your hole, and your head...and T boxes are now quite gritty with little grass.
Some people ignore the no buggy signs and drive anywhere they please,
Even tho, this seems like just a rant I do fearthe best course I have ever played is now slipping from it's original high standard to a normal run of the mill one, equal to many others around the globe.
Il faut aimer le vent ????
Perfekte Fairways, schnelle, anspruchsvolle Grüns. Einfach perfekt.
