The restaurant is housed in a former warehouse, on the edge of a landing stage from which sugar-laden boats once set sail. The place is part of Mauritius's heritage, and was home to hundreds of slaves... Atypical, the setting exudes an old-fashioned je-ne-sais-quoi that some will find too old-fashioned, while others will find wonderfully old-fashioned. The long menu features fish and seafood dishes, Creole specialties, meats and grilled meats, and more. Unfortunately, the quality is uneven. Large, sheltered waterside terrace.
