Run by Moïse and his wife Claudia, managers of a small fish cooperative, this restaurant occupies a pretty stone village house and its adjoining, often crowded, courtyard. This is because the table is one of the few still serving freshly caught fish and seafood of the day, chosen directly from the stall. Afterwards, there's no fuss: the beast is simply slow-roasted in a charcoal oven and, if desired, seasoned with garlic butter. Delicious! Moïse also grills meat and poultry, and it's just as tasty.

This place has hints of a typical coastal restaurant.. The starters need a relooking... the samosa was almost burnt.. and the fish in the beignet was almost frozen. but the main course was good, we had opted for seafood tagliatelle..
To my opinion, the chef was having a bad day... but nevertheless I will visit it again during dinner time. I am sure it will be a feast to indulge in the local seafood of Mauritius.

Excellent local seafood restaurant. Loves the seafood platter. Highly recommend. We travelled over an hour to get here and it was worth it. ????

Tranquille, et très bon!
You are seated in a courtyard, where the woodfire burns and the fish are grilled. The owner starts your service by showing you his platter of today’s catches, and you can choose which Fruit de Mer takes your fancy.
The grilled fish and chicken were imbued with the brilliant woodfire flavour, better than a grilled fish in Greece. The chicken was insane, i have no idea what he could have done to get that flavour out of a chicken.
You also get complimentary garlic bread, toasted on the wood fire.
The octopus salad is high recommendable. It’s a tomato and onion Mauritian chutney with finely cut octopus.
The experience and atmosphere were superb.
