This recently opened restaurant stands at the northern entrance to Port Mathurin, a little way from the hustle and bustle of Rue François Leguat. Refreshed by a gentle breeze, it consists of a large shaded terrace on stilts overlooking the famous river where the first inhabitants stopped. The daily specials on the slate depend on the catch and the arrival of the producers. Fish, seafood, chicken and duck are cooked Rodriguese-style, according to time-honored recipes: a winning equation, given that the restaurant is always packed!

Il faut y aller, ce n'est pas la première fois que je vais la bas et c'est toujours bon, je pense même que c'est mieux que bon. Il ne servent pas de vin où autre alcool, mais bon on fait l'apéro avant. Très bien.
As starters we had crab soup, which consisted of three small crabs in a sort of bouillon, and corn soup which was very good. Main course was an overcooked, dry tuna steak, and a licorne fish also on the dry side. We got some sauces but not clear what we were supposed to do with it as we got no bread. No desserts on the menu this day. The service was nice
