This recently opened restaurant stands at the northern entrance to Port Mathurin, a little way from the hustle and bustle of Rue François Leguat. Refreshed by a gentle breeze, it consists of a large shaded terrace on stilts overlooking the famous river where the first inhabitants stopped. The daily specials on the slate depend on the catch and the arrival of the producers. Fish, seafood, chicken and duck are cooked Rodriguese-style, according to time-honored recipes: a winning equation, given that the restaurant is always packed!

We ordered as Starter 'Poulet Croustillant' and Lamb Sizzling and grilled chicken with chips as main course. They were really tasty and although the food are pricy, it's value for money. Recommended!

Wonderful place in Port Mathurin, great view of the paysage from the terrase. Food is lovely, Octopus and fish was great. We were served a whole octopus. Price is good conpared to its neighbour L'atellier. A must visit again.
