Just a stone's throw from the market, on a wasteland with tables and benches set out in the open air, several street vendors line up their fast-food trailers. For three francs and six cents, you can feast on local dishes, sausages, kebabs, mine frites... in a popular atmosphere reminiscent of a guinguette. A word of warning to the faint-hearted: there's nothing to fear from choosing this type of restaurant in Rodrigues, where the produce is fresh and often straight from the garden and/or the sea.
