PATATATE CELLAR
Go there and contact
A large, sparsely developed cavern 600 metres long, which can be visited four times a day by torchlight with a local guide
As the coral is calcareous, water infiltration has created several caves throughout this part of the island. Rich in beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, the Caverne Patate is interesting, but not very well presented - no lighting or decking. Come with your flashlight or follow the guide's and leave all hope of scientific gloss outside: in the chiaroscuro of the caverne Patate, only imagination and poetry prevail, and that's the charm of the walk! The traverse is 600 m long, and the ceiling of the highest room reaches 25 m.
