THE MURALS OF THE CHURCH
Go there and contact
The church dates from the th century and originally included a nave and apse. Two chapels were subsequently added. In 1994, an important campaign to restore mural paintings was undertaken, and confirmed the presence of th-century paintings, certainly of Byzantine influence. Located in the choir of the building, they represent Christians who have strongly influenced their time, such as Sainte Foy, keeping the fleur de lys attached to the virgins. Saint Martin, who was until the Revolution the boss of the church, is represented on his horse, cutting his coat in two to give half to a poor.
