SPA PARADOR DE CADIX

You don't have to be staying at the Parador to benefit from its spa, but it would be a shame to miss out on a visit to Cádiz. Located on the second floor of the building, facing the Atlantic Ocean and the hotel's swimming pools - in other words, in an exceptional setting - it offers a whole range of treatments and massages for the body and face, from seaweed and chocolate wraps to Phoenician gold exfoliation treatments. In the latter case, don't expect to be covered in gold - it's just coarse salt - but it's nonetheless extremely pleasant, followed by a relaxing drink of your choice. The place's must: the hydrothermal circuit, which includes a good dip in the pool. Book well in advance if you're coming in summer, through the Parador reception desk.
