Church, rich in history and with a fresco by Murillo in its oval nave, in Cadiz.
This church is famous for hosting the meeting of the Cortes proclaiming the Pepa, a Liberal Constitution in 1812, explained in a didactic way in these places by an interpretation centre set up for the bicentenary. At that time, the city besieged by the Napoleonic troops had become a resistance bastion housing the provisional government. The building bears witness to this past and presents a Murillo fresco in its oval nave.
