ORATORY OF SAN FELIPE NERI
Church, rich in history and with a fresco by Murillo in its oval nave, in Cadiz.
This church is famous for having hosted the meeting of the Cortes proclaiming the Pepa, the liberal Constitution of 1812, explained in a didactic way here by an interpretation center set up for the bicentenary. At the time, the city was under siege by Napoleonic troops and had become a bastion of resistance, housing the provisional government. The building bears witness to this past, and features a Murillo fresco in its oval nave.
