Run by Eric Kempf, a Frenchman who knows the region well, this is an interesting rental proposition located in an ^18th-century hacienda isolated inland (between Los Caños and Barbate) amidst the sand and pine trees of the natural park and 5 km from the beach. In all, some fifteen charming rooms with terraces, all well-equipped (refrigerator, TV, ADSL in some cases...), but please avoid room no. 8. The address also boasts a patio with lemon trees, an international cuisine restaurant, a swimming pool and total access to nature. As for curiosities, the building boasts an astonishing and impressive old dovecote (the largest in the world, according to the Guinness Book!), which can be visited free of charge. It dates back to 1730 and is made up of 7,770 nests!
