LA CASA INVISIBLE
It is usually by chance, when you get lost in the small streets of the centre of Málaga, that you can find the pretty patio of the invisible casa, which bears its name well. And we enjoy sitting on one of the small tables or in the bar for a drink or something to eat. Here, it is clear to no one that the atmosphere is rather demanding. This invisible house, housed in a beautiful building dating back to 1876, is also a mecca for the social movement in the city. It all began in March 2007 with the creation of a "social and cultural centre for citizen management", determined to use this abandoned place to promote "100 cultural and social" projects. This more or less tolerated occupation should have ended if the occupants of this house had not demonstrated and met with serious support from the artist Nacho Vegas or from the directors of Reina Sofia in Madrid and Macba in Barcelona. So much so that the Mayor of Málaga wanted to engage in a dialogue to study the transfer of this municipal public space. In the meantime, you can also follow the news of their activities on the website.
