LA RESERVA 12, VINOTECA
Between Calle Larios, the main shopping street, and the Cathedral, it's a well-placed novelty for good-natured Malagueños, who have already adopted this address and its branches here in Málaga and in Torremolinos. Quite chic, with a hint of cheekiness, this very comfortable space, with a huge counter, high tables and stools, lounges and a small terrace, is a real eye-catcher. For an aperitif: langostinos ajillos (small langoustines spiced up with garlic), fried alcachofas (artichoke hearts) to die for, atun con porra (tuna), not bad... If you decide to stay, at the pianos, they cook traditional Andalusian dishes without showing off: good choice of fish (swordfish, monkfish...) and seafood (clams, prawns...) and then some classic meats (solomillo of pork, veal or beef and pieces of suckling lamb). A delight for those with good taste, in their fifties, who have also come for the extensive wine list, under the auspices of a brigade of apprentices in white suits.
