Museum of Glass and Crystal of Andalusia with more than 3,000 pieces of furniture, works and art

Housed in a well-restored 18th-century mansion, this is the only Glass and Crystal Museum in Andalusia, but it's also a fine museum of decorative arts in the broadest sense. Glass and crystal are, in fact, the common thread running through this top-quality private collection, comprising over 3,000 pieces of furniture, artworks and works of art. In addition to two splendid birdcages, religious stained-glass windows and English works of art, you'll admire remarkable Art Nouveau glassware by Lalique or Galé, or refined works by Cartier. The collection of Gonzalo Fernández Prieto, the art historian and restorer behind the museum, will delight the curious and connoisseurs alike. For a guided tour in French, ask for Marcos, a friendly antique dealer by trade, who knows all the pieces inside out.

In a discreet neighborhood of Malaga this beautiful museum housed in a residence still inhabited and alive presents, apart from a magnificent collection of glass and crystal objects, a furniture set that also worth a detour. Visits in Spanish, English and French by a competent and truly professional guide. To see absolutely!

Bcp bcp de pièces, il y a vraiment de beaux morceaux et le guide est passionné. On voit l'évolution du travail du verre et du cristal.
