Visit this sea cave located east of Málaga and admire cave paintings of animals and remains of ceramics

12 km east of Málaga, the Grotta del Tesoro is the only sea cave in Europe open to visitors. Cave paintings of animals and remains of ceramics dating back to the Neolithic period have been found here. Legend has it that the cave, authenticated as an ancient prehistoric sanctuary of the lunar goddess Noctiluce, contained a treasure buried in the 12thcentury .
