This former 16th-century convent at the foot of the Torcal mountains was restored and inaugurated as a hotel in 2009, complete with indoor pool and Spa. The exclusive 5-star hotel, set away from the town in the midst of olive groves, offers 21 very comfortable rooms, some with private gardens. An excellent address, especially as the hotel's restaurant, El Refectorio, is also well worth a visit, run by chef David Muñoz, who cut his teeth at the famous El Bulli restaurant in Catalonia. You'll find traces of his creativity here, in a subtle mix of traditional Andalusian cuisine and the most elaborate dishes, as you let yourself be guided by the suggestions of the moment!
