Hotel, 5 stars, with restaurant, swimming pool and spa in a former convent in Antequera.
This former 16th-century convent at the foot of the Torcal mountains was restored and inaugurated as a hotel in 2009, complete with indoor pool and Spa. The exclusive 5-star hotel, set away from the town in the midst of olive groves, offers 21 very comfortable rooms, some with private gardens. An excellent address, especially as the hotel's restaurant, El Refectorio, is also well worth a visit, run by chef David Muñoz, who cut his teeth at the famous El Bulli restaurant in Catalonia. You'll find traces of his creativity here, in a subtle mix of traditional Andalusian cuisine and the most elaborate dishes, as you let yourself be guided by the suggestions of the moment!

La spa è trasandata , senza assistenza , fredda. La sauna è sporca e rovinata tanto da macchiare l’unico asciugamano con cui va fatta la doccia e la spa. Per cambiare gli asciugamani abbiamo dovuto attraversare in costume tutto il contento per farcene cambiare uno perché due non ne avevamo.
Prenotati due massaggi , non siamo stati avvertiti che la massaggiatrice era una sola , siamo arrivati all’orario stabilito e ci ha caldamente consigliato di non farlo perché era in ritardo con gli altri massaggi e stanca . In camera manca un bollitore o qualcosa da caffè ed è meglio dormire sugli scogli che su quei cuscini !!!
