Five kilometers from Ronda, this young ganadería opened in 2011 and is located in the heart of the Dehesa Mediterránea, an area declared a biosphere reserve by Unesco. Rafael Tejeda, a bullfighter with a rather atypical profile, is at the head of this breeding operation. He began his career as an engineer, before returning to his passion for bullfighting. After a career as a novillero in 2009 and 2010 in arenas such as Cordoba and Puerto de Santa María, he took the alternative in 2011, and has since combined his role as bullfighter and manager of this breeding farm. During this guided tour, you'll be introduced to all the methodologies involved in selecting, breeding and training fighting bulls, by experts in the field. The tour also provides an opportunity to observe the flora and fauna of this serranía. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to handle the bullfighter's capote and muleta, a little exercise that's great for building muscles.
